Christmas 2011

We had quite the adventure at our house this year. It was so much fun to have both the girls right in all the action. Taylee enjoyed ripping her presents open and Carmindy took the slower approach by taking pieces off at a time and handing them to us as she went. It was so fun to see the excitement when they saw the things that Santa brought.

Santa brought the girls a wagon. Carmindy loves it and throws a big fit when she has to get out.

Taylee loves jerky a.k.a "meat" and she got a bag all to herself.

After church we decided to finish opening all the presents from santa and everyone else. Carm got thing for her baby dolls. She knew exactly what is was and started trying it out right away!!!

Taylee loves her new clothes. She thinks she is pretty awesome, which she is!!!

Carmy even got new sippies....hence carrying both of them and trying to use them!

Grandpa Doug and Grandma Kay Dell got them new dolls. The girls love them!

If you haven't heard Carmindy laugh lately you are missing out. She has this evil little deap throated laugh that is so funny! I wish we could get it recorded really well but she knows when we are doing it and stops. She was doing her laugh all day on Christmas!

The Dancing Princess of Hip Hop!!!

Taylee started dance in September, she loves it. She wanted to take ballet but she loves the show Shake It Up on disney channel and she wanted to dance like the stars on that show so I signed her up for Hip Hop. While I was on my Mom-Cation, she had a dance recital at the Dickens Festival. And Grady got to get her all ready. With the help of Grandma Bev and Michelle. She even got to wear makeup which she was SOOOO excited about!

The next weekend was her Christmas Concert at one of the local High Schools. She did so good. And she was pretty excited about getting a rose.

Mom-cation!!

I was invited by a friend to go see WICKED at the beginning of December with a bunch of girls, around 20. She was celebrating her big 30 and wanted to do something really fun. So we headed to California to the Pantagus Theatre!

On the trip down we ran into this big mess...a truck on fire and the truck on back was also on fire. The traffic was such a mess that the ambulence couldn't even get through. The theatre is located right on HOLLYWOOD BLVD! So you end up walking looking at your toes so you can see who has the star. This is one of the many that I saw that I knew who they were.

And we ran into some celebs...going to WICKED...

Inside the theatre was HUGE!! It was amazing. This dragon was part of the set.

We stayed at JW Marriot LA LIVE hotel and the view from my room was to the Staple Center and the Nokia building. We were only the 18th floor.

One of the nights we got to ride the elevator with this guy...Yeah its Javier Colon from "The Voice" and my friends, Heather, Joe, Brooke, Javier, Me, Dani, & Amy!

The night after seeing Wicked we went out to eat at Rosa Mexicano which is right by the hotel and I was so excited to see Rachel Federoff and Destin Pfaff from Millionaire Matchmaker.

This trip was so much fun for me. We did so much shopping at Santee Alley and just had fun getting to know each other and spending much needed momcations away from our families. But we were so excited to get home. I had so much fun I might even go on another trip next year! Anyone in???
