Easter 2011

We were lucky to have my entire family come down this year for Easter. We visited the annual Art Festival and ate great fair food and had fun looking at all the artists creations. We went to the park allot and one of the splash pads here in St. George. We had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids in the family and they had a blast looking around the park for them.

We had such a fun weekend. Tay was so excited to have her cousins here to play with. They kept each other busy and had allot of fun playing and running around together.

Taylee Kay turns 4!!

I can't believe my little girl isn't so little anymore. She is such a big girl and is so smart. She was so excited to turn 4 and I hear "Am I still 4" at least once a day. We just had the family over for the her birthday. I really didn't want to deal with a party this year and she didn't really care. She had her cousin Ava over and they watched Tangled her new favorite movie and we painted nails.

When we visited my family she got a pony from her Aunt Holly. She kept telling everyone that she wanted a real one. She got a Tangled shirt. She loves it and wears it all the time.

4 Years.... 6 Months...update

So Taylee recently turned 4 well at the beginning of April. She was so excited for her birthday to happen. She loves being a big sister and she can really make Carmindy laugh and smile.

Her stats...31.0 lbs(16%), 39.5 in (43%)

Carmindy is rolling from her front to back. She rolls half way from her back to front but her chubby arms are in the way most of the time. That and she likes to have her fingers in her mouth all the time so she just lays on her side. She smiles with her entire face and always has a something in her mouth usually fingers or toes.


Her stats...16 lbs 14 oz (53%), 26 in longs(60%), 43 cm (66% head)

Sisters

Don't you just love the look on her face. I know she is thinking. "Ok leave me alone please no more kisses. I know I'm adorable but come on!" Ok fine but I won't smile...

Carmindy was crying and Taylee always tries to shush her to make her stop. Most of the time it makes her more mad!!!

Solids...Yum

We have started the solids! Yay! I was pretty excited to see how she likes eating cereal, lets just say that most of the night her face looked like this!

And of course she got a little more excited and was doing pretty good...

She eats really good from a spoon

And we would get her excited and she would smile really big with a mouthful of mush

And then this would happen over and over again!

Lets just say we are still working on the cereal thing. We are mixing it with lots of things to see which way she likes it.

Carmindy 4 months

Carmy weighs 14 pounds 8 ounces

She is 24.5 inches long

Head circumfrence is 40.1 cm.

Grady Turns 30!!!

On February 20 Grady turned the big 30!! The night before I decided to throw him a big surprise party with family and friends. I planned the party for months and was able to keep the secret. Even Taylee was able to not talk about it. Of course I didn't tell her much just so she would keep the secret. He talked about going to vegas that weekend but I used the excuse of having a bridal shower to go to with his Mom and Sis-in-laws. I told him he should go with his dad and brothers and make the day of it. He went and I had the day to get the party going.

We had alot of fun and Grady was very surprised!! I didn't think to get the camera out until after the party started so I didn't get a picture of how surprised he really was. I'm pretty sure pay back is coming but we'll see what happens.

There was a stage and a wall of mirrors. The kids had fun dancing and climbing all over it.

We waited to open presents until later. Grady couldn't wait so we got started. He got lots of cards and of course a new video game for the PS3.

We had such a great time and he really didn't get mad that I threw him a party. He even asked me earlier in the week if I was sending him to vegas so I could throw him a party. Because if I was he wasn't going to come. I fooled him didn't I!!!
