We're Ready!!
I think I can official say I'm ready for this little girl to get here. I got everything washed and set up. I even put back together the bassinet. Grady had to help me at the end because I couldn't remember how it went together. I only had the legs upside down but I was still pretty proud of myself. I am still trying to figure out where to put the massive amounts of blankets that I have from when Tay arrived. (thanks mom and Grandma Bev)!!! The clothes are all put away. And Taylee can't wait to wear her new Big Sister shirt! Now onto the waiting. I hate this part. I'm not a very patient person when I have to wait for things I know about!! I'm trying to stay busy but I don't know what to do. Only 25 days until my due date. Maybe She'll come in 10 that would be great!!! Wish us luck.

Here comes the Baby in the baby carriage...
So just a quick update from me about Baby girl #2! She finally turned! Hopefully she stays that way. She must know when I wake up in the middle of the night because she won't let me get back to sleep. I dread waking up to my normal potty break in the middle of the night. But then its such an amazing thing that she kicks me like she is telling me "thanks for letting off that little bit of pressure from your bladder, and giving me a little bit more room!" Anyway I have roughly around 6 weeks or less left. I am hoping for the less part. We can't wait for this little girl to get here. We are curious to see how much like Taylee she is going to look. I'm guessing pretty close. We will all just wait and see right!
Speaking of Tay, she really can't wait. Everyday she asks when the baby is coming out. I'm excited for her to be a big sister. She is such a help in so many ways already. Not all the time good but you can see how much she wants to be involved with everything. Now if she would knock of throwing so many fits everyday we would all be a bunch of happy campers. She has learned going in time out really well. I pretty much point to the stairs and she knows she is in trouble. We have the same talk everyday but she doesn't quite understand it all yet.
As for me and Grady. We are trucking along staying busy with Taylee, work and our church callings. The weeks seem to fly buy very fast but we are enjoying it all!

Family Vacation 2010
So we decided to take a vacation before the baby comes and to get away for a few days from work and just hanging around home. We were planning on going to California but soon realized that I would be pretty pregnant and that wasn't going to be very fun. So we decided to take Tay to Vegas. I was surprised to find alot of things you can take a 3 year old to.
It was so dark my pictures didn't turn out very well. Plus I wasn't using my bigger camera. But we still got some good pictures.

Tay and Dad

They had a small aquarium where you can pet the sting rays. Tay got up there stuck her hand in the water and quickly pulled it out. She wouldn't touch them.

Tay and Mom

Tay and a turtle (Sorry you can't see it)

We talked alot about the fountain show in front of the Bellagio. I think that was the highlight of the day. She loved watching all the water shoot into the sky. She kept saying WOW.

These were hanging from the ceiling at the Bellagio. They are made of glass

I don't remember what parking garage we were by but this jeep was in it. Someone had alot of time on their hands. And a large amount of glue.

One of our favorite stops before heading home...
Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage

Even though we couldn't pet them they were still amazing to watch. The trainers were out working with them as we were at the park.
We went to the Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay
This is some funky statue I saw.

Tay learned the art of shooting the paper off the straw. She got pretty good at it.

Between nightly trips to the pool to cool off and soak my swollen ankles and feet. Many trips to different resturants, struggles to contain Taylee acting crazy and running off, alot of shopping. We had so much fun getting away.

Baby Update
Just for kicks I'll update on Baby #2. She is wildly active. Moving all the time. When we went to our last appointment she was positioned transverse (laying sideways) with her feet down. But for 2nd babies that is normal. I hope she moves soon because getting kicked, punched, jabbed in the sides isn't very fun anymore. Although straight down is a weird feeling!! We are right on schedule with the due date of Nov. 8th. And yes I will tell you I'm having her sometime in October!! I hope.
Taylee is so excited for her baby sister to come. She even can say her name and can't wait to tell you what it is!! She has felt the baby a few times but has too much going on to stop and wait for it to happen again. We even finally got her a great big sister shirt and a matching little sister one. And once the baby is here you'll get to see them.
The countdown is closer!! Only 14 weeks left!!

Family Reunion
Grady's family has a reunion every year. We sent Tay up with grandma early. She had fun playing with her cousins and getting dirty!!
Every year there is an annual horseshoe tourney!! Tay is practicing so when she is old enough she can play and win the trophy.

Such focus and determination to make a ringer!!

This year they had family games. The game that Taylee is covered in was played with oreo's. You can't use your hands but the goal is to move the Oreo's from your forehead to your mouth. It was so funny to watch her try...
and try...
and try somemore...

she never made it too her mouth but her eye had alot of Oreo dust in it.

she didn't care if it landed on the ground she would pick it up and try again.
We had so much fun watching Grady and his brothers play the same game. Grady won!! And they were all covered in Oreo's. Aside from the rain, packing the wrong things for myself and the not getting any sleep. We still had fun being with family. Next year we will have two little monkeys getting dirty!!

Taylee the Fish
This summer we decided to enroll Tay is swimming lessons. We have been swimming so much at our pool she might as well learn how. Little did I know how much she would love it. She started in the level 2 beginning class. She didn't pass but she was very close. What can I say she is only 3 and she did learn.

Last weekend we went to visit my parents in Ephriam. They have a big park by their house that we took Tay to just about every day we were there. She still LOVES to swing. The higher the better!! And she still has a very high pitch scream. Once she started she got her cousin Levi to start. It was pretty funny.
