Carmindy Turns 1!!!

Wow where has the past year gone. It seems like yesterday we were just bringing Carmindy home from the hospital and getting Taylee ready for Halloween. She has grown so much in the past year and has really started to show her personality. She is such a happy girl. She currently weighs 19.5 pounds (24%). She is 29.75 inches (73%) and her head is 17.9 inches (64%).

then went straight for the cake and ended up making a massive mess. But thats what Birthdays are for!!

Carmindy is such a blessing to our family. She can a be a handful sometimes and can really irritate Taylee but she is so much fun and is learning so many things everyday.

Sept. 10 2011

We went up to Enterprise to go fishing and four wheeling with some friends and had such a fun day. Grady was reeling in the fish like crazy. I think he caught 7. Since we aren't big fish eating fans he just let them go. Our friends had four wheelers and a Rhino. I drove the rhino with Tay and Carmy in the back and a nephew of our friend in the front. Grady, our friend and his son and another nephew were on 4 wheelers. I led the way even though I had no clue where I was going. I don't know the outskirts of Enterprise very well. It was a pretty fun ride winding all over the hills and around the resevoirs. This was I had in the back at the end of the ride. She was crying or screaming while we were out so I assume she like it.

Taylee Starts School...Carmindy is 10 months

Taylee has been so excited to start Preschool this year. Everyday she asks me if she is going to school today. Since she goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays the answer ends up being no sometimes. But she loves her class and espicially the concept of recess. I remember loving that part of school too. She loves all the little things that she gets to do at school and is excited everytime she brings something she made home. We decided to sign her up for something else while she is in school. She decided to take dance and is now in a Hip-Hop class. She loves to dance around all day long so why not use that enegry she has for something like that. After one class she remembered quite a few moves. And she is so excited to learn more. Carmindy on the other hand is growing so fast. She currently has her two bottom teeth and is more than likely having more come in. She crawls all over and can pull herself up on everything. She has mastered going up the stairs just not the down part. She thinks its fun to have mom chase her all day long. So most of the time the stairs stay blocked. She thinks being told no is hilarious. It makes her crawl for the stairs faster and climb them. She loves to scare the dog by pulling her tail while she is asleep. Luckily she hasn't been bitten yet but Molly is a pretty mellow dog most of the time. She still loves Taylee espicially when she gets tickled and gets to play with her.

Happy Birthday to....ME!

So the other day {Aug 19} was my 27th birthday. Not such a big deal. Birthdays are great. I had a pretty lax day and a fun evening with Grady. We went out and left the kids with a sitter. He took me to the Anasazi Steak house and we ate the most AMAZING!! fondue ever. So good. And the we had Steaks the we cooked on a hot rock. (You get to cook it to your liking. Nice Right!) And it came with Potatos and Carrots. And the waiter was even nice enough to bring me a slice of amazing cheesecake!! And I even got to blow out a candle, Yep that's right only ONE! After we waddled out of the resturant after eating so much food we headed to the theatre to watch Green Lantern. It pretty much topped off my birthday. I mean who doesn't like Ryan Reynolds in a green suit!?!

The next night we had the Fam over for dinner and cake. I got some great presents from everyone. And I'm glad they could come. I still have some great ice cream sandwich cake in the freezer...pretty yummy and so easy to make.

Carmindy 9 months....WHAT!!

I can't belive how fast time is going. It seems like yesterday that we were anxiously awaiting for Carm to get here now its been 9 months. WOW! Here are here most recent stats. 18 pounds 5 ounces. 44cm head. 28 inches long. She is crawling everywhere now and loves to chase the dog. She is pulling herself to a kneeling position and will fully stand if someone helps her. She is working on drinking out of sippy cups and eating food by herself. She loves ice cream and any cookie or snack she gets her chubby little hands on. I secretly love the fact that she drives Taylee crazy. She loves to play with anything Tay has and we have had to have the "give her something else" talk multiple times daily so everyone stays somewhat sane!

Here Fishy Fishy...Camping @ Payson Lakes

This past weekend we were able to go spend a few days camping with the family. We drove to Payson Lakes. It was a long drive for us but we enjoyed relaxing and having a good time.
You can't have camping without S'mores. My new favorite kind are with Reese's instead of just regular chocolate. Way yummy! Just hanging out!

This is how Molly decided to enjoy herself!! If they actually made chairs for dogs she would sit in one all the time!

Riding in the Canoe with Grandpa, Rusty and Brockton. My sister and I also went out. We aren't the best at stearing the thing but it was fun to go around the lake.

Grady had a little buddy fishing...we even had to get her a pole and all the fishing necessities to go in her tackle box. She was so excited to pick it out so she will be ready to go next time.

They eventually caught fish. They were pretty tiny and since we aren't very big fish eaters we gave them to people who are.

July 4th

Our 4th was mostly spent relaxing and not doing much. We lit fireworks the day before with some family and then watched the city fireworks on top of the courthouse with Grady's dad. My kids love fireworks! The sounds the colors...they were loving it.
